Hi, lovely people! I hope you're all doing well. Even though this winter has felt 84 years long, and it's still too cold to imagine spring (climate change? hello??), I guess I wanted to create a spring TBR to hopefully cause the seasons to transition more quickly.
If there are a few repeats from my winter TBR, well, I'm drowning in books to read.
1. One Dark Throne (Three Dark Crowns #2) by Kendare Blake

It's been basically a year since I read Three Dark Crowns, so I really need to read this. Hopefully, I'll be able to recall what happened in the first book. I enjoyed it, but as you can tell, I didn't absolutely love it enough to make this series a priority.
2. Mrs. Kennedy and Me by Clint Hill

This book was on my Booktube Games TBR, but unfortunately, I was not able to get to it. I don't believe this book is too terribly long or difficult to read, so I am positive I can get through this before the season's up.
3. Born a Crime by Trevor Noah

I watch The Daily Show all the time, and I find Trevor Noah so hilarious and adorable. I can't wait to read this and learn more about South Africa, apartheid, and his life.
4. The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

By June, I know for sure I will have read all of Leigh Bardugo's published works, this collection of short stories included. She has quickly become one of my all-time favorite authors, and I can't wait to read these Grisha stories.
5. To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before #1) by Jenny Han

I watched the Netflix adaptation of this novel last year, and absolutely fell in love. Lara Jean is such an incredible and relatable character, and I found all the characters to be lovable. I can't wait to get through this series, hopefully before we get the movie's sequel!
6. A Map of Days (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children #4) by Ransom Riggs

Okay, I think this book was on my winter TBR. I still haven't read it, but to be honest, I'm intimidated. This is a big book, and so far I have not found an accessible audiobook. I really want to read this soon, however, because I just find this world so interesting and fun.
These are just a handful of books I want to read this spring season. I love spring, it's truly a time of change. Hopefully, all the change can somehow transform my reading habits and I can finally get through a TBR!
Love, Ru.
