Hello! It's been a minute, and I'll admit I haven't been feeling my best lately. As a result, I did not read as much as I would have liked in the month of February. However, I did read a few things and I still consider that a victory, as should you.

1. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Rating: ★★★★★

I am probably the last person on the planet to have read this, and it's honestly a shame because I absolutely devoured this novel. I just could not put it down. It is well deserving of its praise, and Starr is a phenomenal character. I can't wait to read On the Come Up.

2. Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk

Rating: ★★★★

I hadn't originally planned on reading this so soon, but it was required for one of my college courses, so at least it's finally off of TBR. I initially wanted to give this only 3 stars, but I feel like the ending, in which the narrator eludes to Tyler returning, caused me to enjoy it more. I was surprised at the many themes this novel addressed as well. I do recommend it, but maybe don't take its message as some have in the past.

3. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

Rating: ★★★★★

I could honestly cry thinking about all of the characters I love in this book. Nikolai, Zoya, Nina, Genya, Tamar, Tolya, even David! I love them all. This book made me cry and it made me laugh. That ending is going to forever ruin me, but since it's still a new release in my eyes, I'll wait to discuss it for another time. Nikolai makes me so happy, Zoya makes me so happy, Nina makes me so happy. Thank you Leigh Bardugo for causing me to cry over fictional characters so frequently.
